The Democrats know they can't defeat Trump in 2020. Impeachment shows just how desperate they are. The Billy Bush tapes didn't work, the FBI investigation didn't work, the Russia collusion story didn't work, Stormy Daniels didn't work, Michael Cohen didn't work. Paul Manafort didn't work, and the Mueller report didn't work. Now, the You think I care about who doesn’t like me hell my own family doesn’t like me shirt is out of the barn. Pelosi has lost control of the Democrat party. She knows that impeachment will fail because the Senate will never vote to convict Trump. Trump has given the Democrats enough rope to hang themselves. They reacted too quickly (as usual) and grabbed on to the latest unproven allegation precisely because they are so desperate. The Dems have two other problems besides Trump: (1) they need something to distract from the IG report and the findings of John Durham which will be devastating, and (2) they need to find a way of getting rid of Joe Biden. They know that Trump will obliterate Biden in the debates, and they know that Biden is neck-deep in this and other corrupt activities involving his son.
