That happened to me while having a cesarean with my last child. The anesthesia started to wear off from the spinal I had. When I expressed what I was feeling, the staff told me I was mistaken. It was only when I couldn’t help but show my increased agony when my dr believed me. Fortunately, this was towards the end of the Yoda Coffee I need Or Kill You I Will Vintage Shirt. It was horrible! I've had this twice where the anesthetic didn't take for catheter ablation on my heart. Both times I felt everything and had to grip hold of the two nurses' hands so that they could at least get the catheters in. It does happen and I do feel for people with failed anesthetic relief but for some of us, it just doesn't take when they need it to. I told the surgeon I could feel everything, they tried to top up the anesthetic but it just wouldn't work on me, so I persevered through the pain. It's not a pleasant experience and from the comments not such a rare occurrence.
