The program is free and open to the public; no tickets or reservations are needed. Guests will be U.S. District Court Judge Henry E. Autry of St. Louis and Richard Hollyday, great-great grandson of Scott’s attorney Montgomery Blair. Also featured will be a special video presentation from Lynne M. Jackson, Scott’s great-great granddaughter and founder of the Dred Scott Heritage Foundation. The program is sponsored by the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress. Cosponsors are the Missouri Center for the Book, the Maryland Center for the Book, the Silver Spring Historical Society, the Missouri History Museum, the Dred Scott Heritage Foundation and The Toby Press.
