RIP. He inspired my son to cook with his enthusiasm and easy approach. The fact he also drove great cars also helped. I had a great hairstyle as well. Always remembered. So terribly sad to hear of his passing. Have always remembered fondly our family lunch at Rhodes the I’m too thick to argue can’t hear you over all this ass shirt in Plymouth such a wonderful spot with superb food and atmosphere. It was an honor to eat there. Will forever cherish those memories now. So sad to hear this news, seemed like a really nice guy and a very talented chef! My son also trained at Thanet college catering Dept and Gary was always the well-known celebrity chef they all aspired to!
