Climate change and tourism have damaged Venice: millions of visitors; enormous cruise ships and rising sea levels linked to climate change are all to blame. It’s probably time everyone who has ever visited contributes to a fund to protect it from inevitable future flooding, that there is a limit on visitors and that the Italian Government takes climate change much more seriously.
