This is the BBC all over ! ! Now telling companies they should have people of colour in senior positions ? Why ? You get your position from what you give to a company it's that simple ! There are no race agendas in business and making money that I have ever come across and I have run my own company and dealt with some major PLC's . .another example of the BBC trying to influence instead of reporting fairly and honestly . . And for the true answer BBC look within your organisation . Would you employ an Accountant who could not count? Would you employ a Carpenter who could not cut? Would you employ a seamstress who could not sew? Why would you employ someone who was not able to do a job you need them to do? Oh that's right because it isn't PC to NOT have a specific group represented because they'll get upset... Oh well, I suppose at least they can turn the kettle on.
